Standards & Integrity

Corrections & Updates

This coast changes constantly. When the facts on the ground change — or when we get something wrong — we fix it openly and record it here.

Report Something That Needs Fixing

If you are a local ranger, a National Trust or Natural England staff member, a fellow walker, or simply a sharp-eyed reader, we want to hear about anything that has changed or anything we have got wrong — especially:

Safety-critical changes

Rockfalls, cliff-edge closures, path reroutes, step closures, tide or access changes.

Factual corrections

Wrong distances, journey times, opening hours, prices, or any out-of-date detail.

How to reach us:

Report via our contact page

Or email hello@sevensisters.co.uk. We read every message and update affected guides as quickly as we can verify the change.

How We Verify a Correction

We do not change a published fact on a single unverified report. Before we update a safety-critical guide we confirm the change through at least one of:

  • Direct field observation on our next visit
  • An official source — National Trust, Natural England, the South Downs National Park Authority, the rail or bus operator, or the relevant council
  • A recognised data authority (British Geological Survey, Environment Agency, UK Hydrographic Office, Met Office)

Substantive corrections to safety-critical content are then recorded in the log below. Minor typo and formatting fixes are made silently.
